Congratulations to all of Team ONIX who competed at the Tournament of Champions in Brigham City, Utah, last week. ONIX Pickleball finished with 16 medals overall including two pro gold medals and seven in skill/age events including three golds.

Championship performances included Lucy Kovalova winning gold with the Evoke Premier paddle in the Women’s Singles Pro. Kovalova also won bronze with her partner Andrea Koop in the Women’s Doubles Pro. Team ONIX’s Matt Wright, also playing with the Evoke Premier, took silver with his partner Daniel Moore in the Men’s Doubles Pro. Both Wright and Kovalova co-developed the Premier paddle with ONIX.

In the senior pro events, Kris Anderson, playing with the Summit C1 paddle, and her partner Kevin Booth won gold in the Senior Mixed Doubles Pro, while fellow Team ONIX member Lisa Naumu, using the Evoke Pro, took silver with her partner Scott Moore. In the Senior Women’s Doubles Pro, Naumu and Anderson joined forces to take the silver. Bonnie Williams, also for Team ONIX, captured bronze with her partner Christine Barksdale. Williams also finished with a bronze medal in the Senior Women’s Singles Pro playing with the Evoke Pro.
