Onix Proudly Supports Melanoma Canada’s Smash Out Skin Cancer Pickleball Tournament

Onix Pickleball Canada was delighted to be part of an unforgettable day in Montreal for Melanoma Canada’s Smash Out Skin Cancer Pickleball Tournament, presented by Eucerin Canada!

This wasn’t just any tournament — it was a powerful movement that united our community around an important cause: raising awareness for melanoma and skin cancer while promoting sun safety.

Electric Energy and Star Power on the Courts

The atmosphere at Royal Westcourt on October 25th was absolutely electric! The day featured fierce competition, inspiring teamwork, and a touch of Hollywood flair with 90s icons Andrew Keegan and Ian Ziering lighting up the courts.

With 35 teams and 70 players battling across 12 courts, every serve, rally, and point carried passion and purpose. From first serve to final match, it was a thrilling showcase of skill, energy, and community spirit.

Pickleball for a Purpose

Beyond the exhilarating matches, the heart of the event was clear — to raise awareness and funds for melanoma and skin cancer prevention. Every dollar raised, every conversation started, and every point played helped bring us closer to a world with zero melanoma- and skin-cancer-related deaths.

We are proud to have supported this incredible initiative, aligning our passion for pickleball with a message that protects the health and wellbeing of our community.

$76,000 Raised (and Counting!)

Our team had a fantastic time connecting with players at the ONIX booth, hosted by Tennis Tek, and witnessing the remarkable generosity and spirit of everyone involved.

Together, participants, volunteers, and sponsors helped raise an amazing $76,000 (and counting!) for the melanoma and skin cancer community.
