Congratulations to all of Team ONIX who competed at the Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championship in Indian Wells, California, last week. ONIX Pickleball finished with 49 total medals overall including 19 golds, 16 silvers, and 14 bronzes.

Championship performances included Lucy Kovalova winning silver in the Women’s Singles Pro with the Evoke Premier paddle. She also won bronze with her partner Matt Wright in the Mixed Doubles Pro, who also played with the Premier. The pair co-developed the paddle with ONIX.

In the senior events, Kris Anderson partnered up with Lisa Naumu to win gold in the Women’s Doubles Senior Pro 50+ with their Premier paddles. Fellow teammate Bonnie Williams captured silver, also with the Premier, with her partner Christine Barksdale.

Roxanne Pierce won both a gold and a silver in the Women’s Singles and Doubles Senior Pro 65+, respectively. Carolyn Bagley took silver in the Women’s Doubles Senior Pro 65+.

On the men’s side, Brian Poynter earned gold with the Premier paddle and his partner Dave Weinbach in the Men’s Doubles Senior Pro 50+. Fellow Team ONIX player Steve Cole took silver in the same event. Larry Moon won golds in both the Men’s Singles Super Senior Pro 65+ and the Mixed Doubles. Jim Hackenberg won a gold and a bronze in the Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles Senior Pro 65+. Peter Popovich took a silver in the Men’s Singles Super Senior Pro 65+.
